A governorship hopeful in Akwa Ibom state and immediate past national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) caretaker committee, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe, has boasted that the APC can only clinch the governorship seat of the state through his candidature.

Akpanudoedehe spoke on Thursday, 12th May, 2022 in Abuja when he came to submit his gubernatorial forms to the party.

His words: “I have been in this game for a long time and I’ve been inspired to serve my people each time. In 2015 and in 2019 my people called me to come out.

“I believe that my party will win. I have been one of the founding members of the party, I play different roles in the party. I was the national caretaker secretary of the party. I am the one to win this election for the party in Akwa Ibom.

Akpanudoedehe cautioned the public to be mindful of dabbling into political feuds, especially in the media, saying they are not what they seem to be to non-politicians.

He said politics was all about interest and that politicians knew what they wanted and how to get it at the right time despite whatever perception the public held about them.
