In a statement signed by the Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs of the institution, Mr. Kunle Akogun, said that candidates who scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and made the University of Ilorin their first choice will take part in the screening, which will be a computer-based test (CBT).

Registration for the pre-admission screening exercise commenced on August 4, 2015 and ended on Sunday, August 16, 2015.
Akogun said the University Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel Obafemi, advised candidates to bring with them to their respective centres printed copies of their examination schedules, which indicate that they are slated to write the examination at a particular date and time since even within a day, there are several batches.
“Also, payment receipts generated from the students’ portal section of the university website should be made available as the accreditation team will insist on identity verification through possession of pictures that tally with the face of each candidate,” he said.
Candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise were also advised to be decently dressed, as candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises.
Also, phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises. Only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.
