2019: Barkindo Initiates Support Group For Bindow

A group in Adamawa state which intends to run its affairs as a non-governmental organization (NGO) to support Governor Jibrilla Bindow to continue in office beyond 2019 was formed on Sunday in Yola.
The organization was founded base on wide consultations, assessment of the achievements recorded by the governor. It certified that Bindow’s administration has achieved great successes in developing the state, saying it will be good if the pace is maintained.
The group is known as “4+4 Kaura Support Organisation For Bindow 2019” inaugurated its officials in Yola in a move that is gear toward supporting Governor Bindow to sustain the work tempo he started beyond 2019.
The convener and the initiator of the movement who is also the Commissioner of Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs in Bindow administration, Alhaji Musthapah Aliyu Barkindo, said “Adamawa will be a wonderful state if there is sustainability of developmental growth if Bindow will continue as governor in 2019.”
According Barkindo who also holds the traditional title of “Kauran Adamawa ” in the Lamido Adamawa Emirate said the idea was to also work with other NGOs who believed in the on-going positive changes being recording in the state
His words: “I really thank God today for making it possible to get friends, colleagues and people from all part of the state to buy my vision and dream of forming an NGO to support our governor.
“There is no way we cannot support Bindow to continue as a governor. The 4+4 agenda is simply begging for our governor to answer our call to continue in office in 2019 by God’s willing.
“This Man is virtually surprising everybody in the state with the kind of landmark achievements he is recording in the state. We are out to encourage him to do much more In 2019 and beyond”.
The organisation whose leadership structure cut across the 21 local governments in the state is canvassing support of the people at the grassroots for Bindow to run for second term.
