The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has picked his permanent voter’s card (PVC) at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Area Office in Vandeikya Local Government, Benue State.
Alia picked his PVC in company with a crowd of his supporters on Friday, 23 December, 2022.

At the event, the Benue state governor hopeful expressed confidence in the electoral reforms championed by President Muhammadu Buhari, which have enabled the current INEC led by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu to introduce technology-driven electoral reforms to buoy the confidence of Nigerians in the electoral process.
He enjoined the Benue people to turn out en mass and collect their PVCs at INEC designated areas across the state to enable them vote in the coming 2023 general election.
Alia said: “I have confidence in the electoral reforms under President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and the introduction of technology in the electoral process by the Prof. Manhood Yakubu-led INEC.
” I enjoin you all, the good people of Benue State, to come out en mass and collect your PVCs at the various INEC designated areas and promote good governance by participating in the 2023 general election and the transformation of Benue state in particular.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of the PVC to Alia by the officer in charge of INEC Vandeikya Local Government.
