The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has directed all its local government area offices across the country build an inventory of all uncollected permanent voter’s cards (PVCs) for registration that took place between 2011 and 2021 December.

INEC stated this on Tuesday 6 December, 2022 in a statement by its Director of Voters Education, Mr. Victor Aluko in Abuja.

Aluko wrote: “As part of preparation for the PVC collection exercise, the Commission directed our staff in all its Local Government offices to take an inventory of all uncollected PVCs for registrations that took place between 2011 and 2021 December.

“This is to enable us contact the voters to pick up their cards and also to enable us generate the PVC issuance register that will be used to issue cards to voters at point of PVC collection.”
