2023 Presidential Election Live Results:Atiku Wins Gombe, Yobe, Tinubu takes Oyo, Ogun, Obi Triumphs in Enugu

The official results presented at the Situation Room and National Collation Centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja on Monday 27 February 2023 showed that the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has won the election in Gombe and Yobe.

 Atiku won Gombe with 319,123 votes as opposed to the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who came second by polling 146,977 votes.

In Yobe, Atiku bagged 198,567 to win the state where Tinubu came second with 151,459 votes.

  Presidential Candidate, Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, won Enugu State in a landslide with 428,640 votes out of 456,424 total ballot cast. Atiku, who came second in the state, could only muster 15749 votes. Tinubu scored a paltry 4,772 in Enugu.

  However, the APC presidential candidate won the contest in Oyo and Ogun states. In Oyo, Tinubu polled 449,884 to come first. He also scored 341,554 in Ogun to win the state.  In Oyo Atiku scored 182,977 and Obi polled 99,110. In Ogun, Atiku and Obi polled 123,831 and 85,829 respectively.

As at the time of filing this report the INEC Collation Centre has fielded results from 10 states, namely Ekiti, Kwara, Osun, Ondo Oyo, Ogun, Yobe, Lagos, Gombe, Enugu.

Tinubu won in Ekiti, Kwara, Ondo, Oyo and Ogun.

Atiku won in Osun, Yobe and Gombe while Obi has taken Lagos and Enugu.

The collation of results continues at the ICC, Abuja.
