2023: UNEAD Pledges To Support Nigeria For Peaceful Poll

  The United Nations Electoral Assistance (UNEAD) has pledged to support Nigeria towards a successful 2023 General Elections.

  Leader of UNEAD in Nigeria, Mr. Serge Kubwimana, started this at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat, Abuja on Wednesday, 13th April, 2022 while consulting with the party’s National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, who received the delegation on behalf of the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.

Kubwimana said: “We are here to expressed our intent to contribute to peaceful and inclusive process next year and to see where we can be of value. The country has strong institutions and the ability to run its elections. There are issues, of course, but Nigeria is not the only place where you see issues around elections. Our role again here is to see how we can support one of our member-state”.
