Adamawa To Conduct Open Exam For Head Of Service Post

For the sake of merit, the Governor of Adamawa State, Jibrilla Bindow, said the position of the Head of Service will be well filled through an examination in order to get the most qualified civil servant to head the commission.
Bindow said this while conducting an oath of office allegiance to the newly sworn-in six permanent secretaries that will soon to be assigned to various ministries in the state.
According to him government has already introduced examination for deputy permanent secretaries and that the office of Head of Service will be picked through on highly competitive examination that will enable them get the best senior civil servant in the state.
He stressed that the swearing in became necessary as there was going to be quite a number of Permanent Secretaries on retirement roll in the near future including the head of civil service.
Bindow charge them to be loyal to God not even to him as the sitting governor.
“Our duty is to God and the entire people of Adamawa State, I’m advising you to be loyal to God, fear Him while discharging your responsibilities and advice your commissioners well, feeding them with the right information that will match the state forward,” Bindow said
The newly sworn-in permanent Secretaries are Abu Hammawa from Yola North LGA ,Talmon Fwa from Demsa LGA ,Hamman Musa Mayo Belwa LGA and Anthony Pridamo from Tongo LGA .
Others are Aisha Umar from Michika LGA and Danladi Patrick Kwabe .
