Governor of Adamawa State, Jibrilla Bindow, has disclosed that a massive rehabilitation of some selected hospitals and schools scattered across the 21 Local Government Areas (LGA) would commence in two weeks’ time in the state .
Bindow disclosed this while commissioning an industrial water system in Ganye General Hospitals immediately after a state executive council meeting held at the Local Government Secretariat.
According to him, the education and health sectors in the state will get greater part of this year’s budget since a state of emergency had been declared in the two sectors.
He stressed that his administration was a people-oriented one and he had no excuse not to work for the people despite the dwindling economic situation.
The State’s commissioner of Health, Dr. Fatima Atiku, disclosed that her ministry wass working out plan to restructure the health system and call on the people to support the Governor Bindow-led administration.
