Tagged “budget of hope,” a breakdown of the budget showed recurrent component standing at N60,056234, 030.00 and capital votes of N60, 070,622,500.00. The governor said the administration’s commitment of 50% of state resources to capital development was in consonance with the change mantra of the administration.
He noted that the vision of his administration remained the rapid socio- economic development of the state, stressing that the estimates for 2016 fiscal year have taken into cognisance the current economic challenges and realities.
The budget was, however, short on details for statutory transfers and internal generated revenues (IGR). But Bindow hinted of plans to raise IGR from preceding year by about 50%.
