Aniocha North Council Boss Presents 2016 Budget of N1.6b

The Aniocha North Local Government chairman, Hon. Chuks Oseme, has presented the 2016 budget tagged ” Budget of reality” to the council’s legislators.
Oseme, while presenting the 2016 appropriation bill to council at legislative chamber in Issele-uku, lamented the dwindling allocation affecting the country especially the council areas, arising from sharp drop in oil price, saying that he would have achieved more than expectation in 2015.
Giving the breakdown of the budge, the chairman noted that N877,077, 257.67 was personnel cost, Overhead cost was N431,590,500.00 while 310,220,000.00 would be the capital expenditure.
Hon. Oseme promised that the 2016 budget would be well implemented. He added: “Arising from the above ,we are compelled to do a realistic budget size of N1. 638,887757.67 for 2016 comprising Economic sector, Administrative, Law and Justice, Regional Social sector.”
Oseme pledged his commitment to moving the council area to the next level
Responding, the leader of the Legislative arm of the council, Hon. Kelvin Okwuechime assured of the speedy passage of the budget to ensure that the people get the dividends of democracy.
