President Muhammadu Buhari has been told to prosecute looters of the country’s treasury and resources to serve as deterrent to those with similar motives.
A Member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Board of Trustees, David Ogwol Ayewa stated this during an interview with reporters in Lafia, the state capital.
Ayewa, who described the high level of corruption and siphoning of public funds into private accounts by some Nigerians as against the laws of the land, wants the president to recover such money and also prosecute those involved in the act, irrespective of their tribes, state and party leaning.
The party stalwart, who assured that the President Buhari-led

APC administration was able to address the wrongs done to the country by past administrations and reposition the country for greater heights, called on all well-meaning Nigerians to support the president on the current war against corruption
According to him, the on-going probe of agencies and parastatals does not aim at witch-hunting anybody but a clear fight against corruption in the country.
On Governor Tanko Al-Makura’s administration, the BOT member applauded him for his developmental strides and urged him to do more in the area of Health, education and job creation.
