National Youth Leader, All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Dayo Israel, at the weekend, unveiled the certificate of incorporation of the party’s newly established Progressive City Football Academy.
Addressing the team and its supporters at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja Israel assured that the team would be registered with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) by next week to enable it play in state and national leagues soccer tournaments.
Represented by his Special Assistant, Asiwaju A. Alebiosu, Israel disclosed that the Progressive City Football Academy LTD will engage Samson Siasia’s team for its inaugural match on the 26 May, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja.
According to the APC National Youths Leader, the team will be officially presented to the Sen. Abdullahi Adamu-led APC National Working Committee (NWC) before the team inaugural match.
“I want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to see that we get registered with the Nigerian Football Federation, to enable us play in both state and national leagues soccer tournaments. We are thinking big for this football academy and by God grace you will not regret being part of the team, Israel assured.
