A female politician and assistant woman leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Hajiya Fatimah Yawale, at the weekend called on Governor Jibrila to support the family of Ahmadu Bello, a his die-hard supporter of the governor who died in the course of a protracted illness.
Yawale made the call in Fufore during the visit of the state’s party officials under the leadership of Ibrahim Bilal.
She described the late Bello as an ardent supporter of Governor Bindow who was even induced with millions of naira to work against him but refused because of the total loyalty he has for the party and the governor.
Bello, who others described during the meeting as a upright youth leader of Fufore LGA and his dead is a great lost to Adamawa state and Nigeria in general.
In response the APC acting state chairman, Bilal Ibrahim, asked hundreds of party’s loyalist in Fufore to observe a one-minute silence for the deceased youth leader and assured the people of Fufore that he would intimate the governor of Bello’s death for his family to be compensated.
Ibahim had earlier inform the APC members in Fufore that his visit to them is to concretize the loyalty and support they have been giving the party since its inception and to broker a lasting peace that would stand against all forces aim at bringing disunity in the party for any future elections.
