As part of activities for the 13th All Africa Games plans have reached advance stage for the Games Scientific Congress scheduled to hold from the 3rd to the 7th of March, 2024 in Accra Ghana.
Chairman of the Scientific Congress Organizing Committee who is also the Ag. President of Africa Sports Management Association (ASMA) Prof. Seun Omotayo in his new year message urged Members of the association and indeed all sports stakeholders to participate by providing the necessary knowledge base at the Games.
He said the deadline for submission of Abstracts for the Congress which Theme centers on Youth Sports Development remains 31st January, 2024.
Prof. Omotayo, who declared 2024 as a Year of Mega Games that shall witness the 13th All Africa Games, in Accra, Ghana, 33rd Olympiad in Paris France and 22nd National Sports Festival in Abeokuta, Nigeria, is happy that Africans and indeed the world shall begin the year with AFCON the stage for the celebration of Africa football.
Asked about his expectations of the Super Eagles of Nigeria he said the Nigeria Super Eagles can fly if some key performance indicators are well managed.
Prof. Omotayo enjoined all Stakeholders to rally round the Sports Minister, Hon. John Enoh and other Sports Administrators to make these sporting outings successful for Nigerian athletes.
