To say, that Nigeria is besieged with a lot of problems now is an understatement. These problems are rearing their ugly head day in day out and it required the efficacy of a strong leader, to pull these problems and forged a common understanding for the good of the country.
The leader required now is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was at a time, the country’s Vice-President. In recent times, there were clarion calls to restructure the component units of the country. And one of the proponents of this call was Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. In fact, it is worth saying the call is the right thing to pull the country out of conundrum of the instability and clear lack of unity among the diverse ethnic nationalities.
Today, there is a great deal of distrust among the people of this great country. The Igbos are still clamouring for a Biafran nationhood, the Niger Delta Avenger are striking because they feel that their areas were severely devastated due to exploration of oil and their people subjected to
untold hardship etc. These have greatly debased the very foundation of the required unity among the people of the country as some are even calling for the separation of the entity called Nigeria.
Atiku Abubakar stands firm from his utterances for the survival of one indivisible entity called Nigeria as he believes that each component unit needs to be carry along to make for a united
Nigeria. He is the country’s Century politician who really believes in the unity of the country.
There is no disputing the fact that Atiku Abubakar wields enormous influence as a strong builder, who transverse the nook and crannies of this country building bridges for sustainable harmony and peaceful co-existence among the people of this country.
He is a strong pillar of unity in diversity as a leeway of forging a common ground for the actualization of an inherent common sense for the people to believe in what is known as Nigeria. He can accentuate the rapid growth of patriotism in the mindset of the people of this country towards
building a virile nation, which will embrace brotherhood and camaraderie in loving one another.
The solid basic of how this country to move is quite hinged on a personality who will make the People to perceive themselves as one united people, someone who places the country at the front burner.
The country at this crucial moment needs someone, who would integrate and synergise with other citizens to make it great like Atiku Abubakar. There is no mincing words that this country
needs a panacea to solve its multi-faceted problems and get it moving up to the promised land of no return to the dark days of intolerance among the people. Atiku Abubakar is a champion in getting this country out of the wood and for the people to believe in one another.
We cannot afford to lose such a personality at the helms of affairs of our dear country. As a shrewd politician who has studied the precarious problems of the country, he has a great deal of solutions. The people would bask in euphoria of togetherness once this gentleman can be at the helms of
affairs of this country.
The time is ripe for the people to ponder over the selfless contributions of this gem towards nation building. There is no doubt, that there lies a true Nigerian who has all it takes to put the country on the path of recovery.
