Former Vice President and Founder, American University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has commended the good leadership qualities of Governor Jibrila Bindow of Adamawa state for changing the face of the state within few months in office.
Atiku hinged his commendation on the many roads being either constructed or rehabilitated by Bindow in the state capital, Yola and across virtually all local councils in the state.
The former vice president spoke at the formal launch of Technology Enhance Learning for all (TELA) at the AUN Yola, which aims to fund the education of over 20,000 out-of- school children in Adamawa State.
The project, which attracted the American Government to donate $801,000 through USAID in collaboration with the AUN, is to see that every child is educated in the entire North-East through modern technology like radio, mobile phone, tablets and a face-to face learning session with 750 community facilitators in the state.
The Turakin Adamawa added that with Bindow as governor of Adamawa state, “there is going to be another beautiful state in the country.”
