Bauchi Governor Appoints his SSG Emir of Misau, Gets New SSG

‎The Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, has appointed Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman as the new Emir of Misau in Bauchi State, just as he approved the appointment of new Secretary to the State Government (SSG)
The new Emir of Misau was until his appointment the SSG. He was appointed SSG on 3rd July 2015 by the governor.
Appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Sulaiman as the 11th Emir of Misau came after the death of the Alhaji Muhammadu Manga, the 10th Emir of Misau who died in 17th August 2015.
According to a statement by the Permanent Secretary Political Affairs, Hashimu Yakubu, the new Emir of Misau has held various positions in the state Civil Service including being Principal Private Secretary from 1980-1983.

It said: “Pursuant to the powers conferred on him by section (3) of the Chiefs (Appointment and Deposition) Law, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullahi Abubkar has approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman as the 11th Emir of Misau.

“Alhaji Suleiman became permanent secretary in 1984 and worked in various Ministries, Departments, Agencies of Bauchi state Government. He was appointed as Secretary to the state Government and Head of Service from1996 to 1999.

“After his retirement from Bauchi state Civil Service, he held various political appointments which includes Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Chairman Special Schools Management Board before he was appointed for the second time as Secretary to the state Government on 3rd July 2015, a position he held until his current appointment.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Bello Shehu Illelah has been appointed as the new SSG.
Shehu Ilelah replaces Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman who was appointed as the 11th Emir of Misau.

A statement by the Permanent Secreatry/Special Duties, Abdu Aliyu Ilelah, the appointment of the new SSG was approved by Governor Mohammed Abubakar.
