Politicians in Nasarawa State have been told to put the peace and unity of the state above their personal interests at all times.
Former chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Nasarawa State chapter and presiding Bishop, Word of God Church Joseph Masin gave the advice in a chat with reporters in Lafia, the state capital.
Bishop Masin, who expressed concern over the fragile security situation of the state in recent times, appealed to politicians in the area to conduct their activities orderly and in accordance with the laws of the land.
According to him “we are all one and there is no need for us to go after each other in the name of politics because the game is not a do or die affair,”
The clergy man who opined that the problem of insecurity in the state cannot be over without the coming together of the political class to thwart the source of problems bedevilling the area, called on those elected to redeem their campaign promises and work for the growth of the state.
