The Premier ruler of Fombina Adamawa and the Grand Patron of Tapilaku People in Africa, HRH Alhaji (Dr) Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari has done a great job in curtailing the activities of Boko Haram in the entire North East.
The Lamido also lauded Governor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state for making giant strides in the area of security and physical infrastructure development in the state.
The royal father said: “Two years ago I would have left this country to Cameroun because of insecurity problem, but our President (Buhari) and the support of our hard-working Governor (Bindow) have halted the operation of these notorious boys. I thank Buhari immensely for keeping us safe in this country. ”
Dr Barkindo spoke when he witnessed the formal flag-off ceremony of the 4.5 km road of Yolde Pate in Yola town by Bindow.
He revealed that the road has been in existence for the past 40 years and that no government thought of constructing it until now.
“I want to commend the efforts of this visionary young man who is doing his best to bring rapid development to the state, I enjoin the people of the state to give him all the maximum support that he needs to take Adamawa state to the next level,” the royal father stated.
