National President, Arewa Pastors Forum For Peace (APFFP), Bishop Mbayor Japheth, has said the most persecuted and worst vulnerable attacked people in the world today are the Northern Christian minority living in 19 northern states of Nigeria.
Addressing the Plateau State chapter during the inauguration of the state officials held at Usiju center Apollo crescent Plot 731 GRA by Secretariat junction in Jos, Bishop Japheth said Christians in Northern Nigeria were being brutality murdered without any provocation by so -called herders and Boko Haram insurgents who have continue to terrorist them .
According to him, the forum had a total of 300,000 membership across the 19 States in the north and is a non-profit, non-political and called for all denominations across the states to foster unity amongst themselves so as to defeat common enemies of the church .
Bishop Japheth stressed that Nigerian Christian should stem the tide of coming together to foster peace in the north by sensitizing the head of various denominations and break barriers among themselves.
Japheth urged the leadership of CAN in Nigeria to stop the politics of denominations differences and embrace each other by bringing ideas that can built unity ,love and understanding or else it will not achieve the main purpose of unity .
