Founder and General Overseer, Jesus People Mission, Apostle Emmanuel Nzuko Onyejiuwa, has charged residents of Nasarawa State to maintain peace and work for the speedy growth of the area.
Apostle Onyejiuwa who made the appeal during a chat with newsmen in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital described peace as the only panacea for societal development.

According to him, no community the world over can develop amidst crises, adding that Nasarawa State, especially the Southern Senatorial District has faced lots of challenges that had halted business activities and destroyed lives and property in the past.

The clergyman, who attributed the existing peace in the state to the roles played by government and security agencies, cautioned the people against acts capable of breaching the current peace in the area.

He called on politicians in the state to conduct their activities orderly and in accordance with the laws of the land.
According to him, “I’m aware that the election tribunals in the state have started passing their final verdicts and I wish to appeal to the politicians to be careful and orderly in their conducts whether the Judgement favours them or not. Leadership is from God, he gives only to those He so desires at any given time.”
