The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday 15 February, 2024 Inaugurated its governorship primary and appeal committee.
The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, while inaugurating the two committee at the party National Secretariat Abuja, charged them to deliver their assignment base on the party doctrine of fairness to enable the victory for the party in the governorship election in Edo state.
Ganduje said: “The national organising secretary has already spelt out the objective and schedule of your assignment in a paper given to you. APC has a doctrine of fairness as it is done in any democratic society of the world. I would like you to follow same to enable the party reclaim Edo state.
Responding on behalf of the two committee, the Chairman and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinnma, promised to deliver fittingly on the party’s objectives.
Uzodinnma said: “We feel honored by the party for choosing us and believing in us. On behalf of the committee, we promised to do what is right for the party.”
