
The expected fresh onslaught against graft in the country may be led by former Military Governor of Kaduna State, Col. Dangiwa Umar, a credible source has disclosed to The Dream Daily.
According to the source, “President Muhammadu Buhari will make good his promise to tackle corruption in the country by overhauling all anti-corruption agencies in the days ahead by changing the personnel heading all anti-graft agencies in the country. As part of the overhaul, the President has made overtures to a number of credible Nigerians to lead these agencies to achieve their mandates.”
The source added: “I can tell you that one of them is the radical Col. Dangiwa Umar. Since he was forced out of the military, Col. Umar anti-corruption profile has grown in leaps and bound and you will agree with me that with such a man heading, say the EFCC, that will tell the country and the whole world that the President is serious about killing corruption in the country before it kills Nigeria.”
