I Have Not Defected To APC – Mashood Aigoro

A former Kwara State House of Assembly Aspirant in the 2015 General Elections on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP) for Ilorin East Local Government Area, Alhaji, Mashood Aigoro, has denied media reports that he has defected to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
Aigoro, in a statement made available to journalists in Ilorin, Kwara State, said as a bonafide Kwaran he wanted the state to support Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He stated: “As a progressive politician, my foundation, Mashood Aigoro Foundation, will continue to focus on its youth and women empowerment programme to liberate our people from poverty and want towards creating a society where there will be equal opportunity and benefit to all.”
