The Ijebu Igbo Council of Obas has lauded the emergence of Prince Lawrence Jayeoba Adebajo as the Orimolusi-Elect/

  The Council’s support for the Orimolusi-Elect was expressed via a congratulatory message addressed to him and jointly signed by the five Second-Class kings of the five kingdoms making up Ijebu Igbo, namely the Sopenlukale of Oke Sopen, Oba (Dr.) Mufutau Adesesan Yusuf; Secretary of the Council cum the Olokine of Ojowo Kingdom, Oba Abdulrasheed Abayomi Banjo; the Kegbo of Atikori, Oba Ibitoye Solaja; the Bejeroku of Oke Agbo, Oba Stephen Adeleke Adekoya; and the Abijaparako of Japara, Oba Adewale Aderemi Ogunye.

 The Council’s congratulatory message reads:

“The Ijebu Igbo Council of Obas writes to congratulate you on your emergence as Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo after about 27 years of struggle.

“We pray for long and peaceful reign with unprecedented development for Ijebu Igbo larger community during your reign.

 “On our part, we are looking to a harmonious working relationship with you for the overall peace, progress and development of Ijebu Igbo.

“Congratulations.”
