The Adamawa Immigration Command has arrested the 15th most wanted man on the list of Boko Haram suspects published recently by the Federal Government.
The state commandant, Ubi Inpki, revealed this to our correspondent in Yola shortly after the official visit of the command to Malkohi internally displaced peoples (IDP) camp in fulfilment of a promise made to the IDPs.
However, Inpki could not give the name and where the suspect was arrested, only stressing his men were tirelessly working to apprehend other suspects.
The command through the Nigeria Immigration Service Comptroller-General pledged to give 10 sewing machine to the IDPS in Malkohi.
“Our gesture is predicated on the fact that you can’t give a man fish to eat, but you have to teach him how to fish,” he said.
Ubi also added that the command was playing the role of being “our brothers keepers”to the IDPs who were forceful ejected from their original homes.
According to him, the Immigration extended its kind gesture to the IDP to relieve them of the pains they were going through.
He added that the state Immigration command was known to be fighting illegal immigrants in the country, stressing that this new year they will intensify the search for illegal immigrants and close the country’s borders against unregistered people.
