An Israeli travel company and agency, Taba Tours, is plans to start on a modern agricultural company in Adamawa State.
Chairman of the company, Mr Wisam Shadiya disclosed this during a visit to Governor Jibrilla Bindow in Yola, led by the Chairman of the Board, Bishop Amos Yohanna and the Executive Secretary (ES) Dr Jinga Lucius Mayo.
The lauded the governor for a job well done by taking 1,500 pilgrims to the Holy Land.
Wisam gave special thanks to the governor for considering Taba Tours to serve the intending pilgrims.
Wisam said: “Your Excellency we are returning this gesture when a 10 hectare of land will be provided to us to train Adamawa people in modern agriculture. Sir we know Nigeria is blessed with arable land waiting for people to explore it. We have come to return the gesture by training hundreds of people with the new knowledge to acquire new skills on agriculture which in turn will boost the economy of the state and reduce unemployment.”
He added that they were in Nigeria to make Adamawa a reference point of modern agriculture in Nigeria.
Governor Bindow said their coming was timely as a programme was in top gear towards youths empowerment in the state and assure them of support to acquire land.
