Jema’a Council Distributes N9 Million Writing Materials

Jema’a Local Government council has distributed writing materials worth N9 million to primary schools in the area.
Presenting the materials to some pupils during the flag-off of the distribution at the Local Government Secretariat on Thursday, the Interim Chairman, Dr. Bege Katuka, said the present administration under the leadership of Governor Nasir Ahmed El-rufai, placed premium on Education at the grassroots level.
Dr. Katuka explained that if the education sector of the economy would fail, virtually every sector of the economy would fail.
He therefore called on them not to relent in molding younger generation and leaders of tomorrow. Responding on behalf of other teachers, the head teacher, model Practising Primary School Kafanchan, Mrs Hajara Kokat appreciated the gesture and pledged to put in their best at work.
