Two fraudsters issuing fake appointment letters to those seeking teaching appointments in public schools in Adamawa state have been arrested.
Executive Secretary Post Primary Schools Management Board, Adamu Danjuma said the suspects were apprehended with fake appointment letters and had since been handed over to the police for prosecution.
Danjuma categorically stated that the board was not recruiting or replacing any staff as of now and warned the general public to be wary against the activities of fraudsters.
He said the board is trailing one of the fraudsters who specialized in forging signatures of former and the present executive secretaries of the board.
The executive secretary called on the general public to be on the alert and report any person who approaches them with such offer.
Sources at the Adamawa state Police Command Headquarters Yola, confirmed the story, adding that the suspects would soon be arraign in court upon completion of investigation.
