Kagarko Local Government Interim Council has terminated the appointment of all casual staff of the Local Government, due to financial constraints.
The Council Chairman, Shehu Musa Tafa revealed this in an interview on Wednesday at his office in Kagarko.
The chairman said priority will be given to permanent staff, until when the financial position of the local government improved.
Tafa said villages that have been cut off from the rest of the local government would be have bridges and culverts, lamenting that the local government was one of the most backward areas in the Kaduna State.
He stressed that his administration will do its best to be prudent in the management of resources to enable it tackle developmental challenges that would improve the living standard of residents.
