Katsina Governor, Raddah, ‘In Minor Road Accident’, Says Aide

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Raddah, was involved in a road accident Sunday night while on his way back from Daura to Katsina. 

 Raddah’s Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, who confirmed the incident via a media statement, stated that it was a minor accident, adding that the governor was in good health and currently in his residence undergoing primary observations. 

According to Mohammed, Radda expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah, residents of Katsina state, all his well wishers. 

The statement read in part: “Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep appreciation to the people of Katsina State and well-wishers across the nation for their prayers and concern following a recent minor road incident along the Daura–Katsina road”.

The governor in a short video also said: “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Dear brothers and sisters of Katsina state and beyond, we are deeply grateful for all your prayers and concern. By the will of Allah, we were tested with a car accident — but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed.

 “I’m pleased to confirm that I remain in good health and high spirits. Once again, thank you for your heartfelt prayers. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah,” the governor concluded.
