The Kwara State government has declared its readiness to help Farmers in the state to move agriculture to another level through mechanised tillage.
Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed, who was represented by the Director of
Agriculture and Engineering Service in the State’s Ministry of Agriculture, Eng. Oye Abifarin, made this known on Monday at a seminar organised for farmers by the State government at the Kwara State Agric Mall premises.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to putting smiles on the faces of farmers across the state, saying that government will identify with farmers in a possible way to make them millionaires through mechanised means of farming.
Also speaking at the seminar, the immediate past Deputy Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Engr, Issa Gana, urged the famers to embrace modern means of farming, pointing out that the off-taker demand-driven agriculture in the state was tailored towards teaching youths how to become millionaires through farming without much stress.
