La’ah, Others Seek Better Federal Presence In Senatorial District

Senator Representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Chief Danjuma La’ah, has met with traditional Rulers of his constituency to look into the possibility of increasing federal government presence in the area.
The senator disclosed this to journalist shortly after holding a closed-door meeting with the royal fathers on Saturday in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government area
Chief Danjuma La’ah said his constituency did not have enough federal government educational institutions firms and parastatals compared to other senatorial districts across the country.
He said the increased presence of federal establishment would create more employment opportunities and chances of admission for those wishing to further their education.
Senator La’ah said the meeting with the traditional rulers was to consolidate efforts in the quest, in view of their influence in society.
Other concerns raised at the meeting, which lasted more than three hours, included enhancement of security, youth and windows empowerment and the general wellbeing of people of the constituency and the state.
