Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Crown Prince of Iran and eldest son of the last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has sparked global attention with a viral video message in Persian, proclaiming the collapse of Iran’s Islamic Republic.

The announcement follows Israeli’s ongoing war with Iran.

In the video, posted on X, Pahlavi declares, “The Islamic Republic has come to its end and is collapsing. What has begun is irreversible.”

Speaking from exile, he urges Iranians to seize the moment, stating, “Now is the time to stand up; the time to reclaim Iran.”

His words resonate with a growing sentiment among Iranians, as recent polls show 99% of Iranians abroad oppose the regime. Pahlavi’s call to action emphasises unity, saying, “The future is bright, and together we will turn the page of history.”

The video, widely shared on platforms like X, has galvanised Iranian opposition groups and diaspora communities. Protests have erupted in cities like Los Angeles, where over 80,000 rallied in support of Pahlavi’s vision for a secular, democratic Iran. However, critics argue his leadership lacks a clear plan to dismantle the regime, with some questioning his reliance on foreign support.

Nevertheless, Pahlavi’s message has fuelled hope among Iranians, with many chanting his name at gatherings, such as at the Tomb of Ferdowsi. As the region braces for further conflict, Pahlavi’s bold declaration, “May I be with you soon,” signals a potential turning point for Iran’s future.
