Alumni of Ijebu Igbo’s premier secondary school, Molusi College, have applauded the victory of Prince Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adedeji Tanimowo Adebajo in the race for the Orimolusi throne in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State.

The Alumni, under the aegis of Molusi College Old Student Association (MOCOSA), expressed their joy over the development in a congratulatory letter addressed to the Orimolusi-Elect signed by MOCOSA Global President, Dr. Wole Kukoyi and the Association’s Global Secretary-General, Rev. Sola Ogunbanjo.
Molusians, as the ex-students of the college are called, wrote:
“We write on behalf of Molusi College Old Students Association (MOCOSA) comprising of Sets, Branches and Chapters in Nigeria, United Kingdom and North America to congratulate and rejoice with you, HRH Oba Lawrence Jaiyeoba Adebajo, Orimolusi-elect, on your selection by the 11-member Warrant Chiefs Committee, constituted by the Ogun State Government for that lofty purpose.
“We note that your eventual emergence as the Orimolusi-elect after a 27-year impasse and interregnum cannot be anything but divine arrangement by God Almighty.
“Molusi College as an institution in Ijebu Igbo, your domain, has been involved, in the last 72 years, in building people who are today masters and captains in various fields of human endeavor in Nigeria and around the globe. These Molusians have actually been leading “in every walk of life”, according to our School song “Only the best”.
“It is on record that former Royal Highnesses, late Obas Adeboye and Adetayo indeed played highly significant roles in the founding and nurturing of the school.
“We believe God would use you too, Your Highness, to take this great institution even higher.
“Meanwhile, we look forward eagerly and confidently to your reign which will, by God’s Grace, usher into Ijebu Igbo peace, progress and prosperity.
“Once again, we say Congratulations Kabiyesi.
