Nigeria Is God’s Own Project, Says Kwara Speaker

As Nigeria marked her 55th Independent anniversary, the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ali Ahmad has stated that the nation was destined for glory.
The Speaker, who described Nigeria as “God’s own project” noted that despite numerous challenges facing the country in recent times, it has continued to wax stronger as an entity.
Ahmad, in an Independence messages issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir, in Ilorin said Nigeria’s future was very bright among the comity of nations.
Observing that expectations were very high from the populace as the development in the country does not correlate with its years of existence, the Speaker was of the view that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration has the wherewithal to turn things around for better in Nigeria.
He stressed that in spite of the people’s differences, Nigerians still remain one under a great nation, Nigeria.
The Speaker stated that with the right mindset both from the leadership and the populace, undoubtedly the country has what it takes to have a change of fortune soon.
On the challenges facing the country, the Speaker stated that soon insurgency would be a thing of the past in Nigeria and urged Nigerians not to relent in their support and prayers for the present administration to succeed in its plans to place Nigeria where it truly belonged among the comity of nations.
