The Ninkyob people in Jema’a local government area in Kaduna state have been told to distance themselves from sinful ways and embrace godly life to attract God’s blessings.
Apostle Emmaunel Ego Bako of Operation Catch the Fire Ministry, Kafanchan gave the advice in a sermon delivered last Saturday at the Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Anguwan, Fari Kaninkon during a prayer summit organized by the Ninkyob Community.
Taking his text from the book of Jeremiah chapter seven verse three with the theme “Amend your ways” Apostle Emmaunel Bako reminded the people to reflect on the sufferings of Jesus Christ and seek to live in ways pleasing on to Him.
He challenged them to tolerate, accommodate and love one another in all circumstances to promote the spirit of unity among them.
In a remark, the Tum Ninkoyb, Malam Tanko Tete expressed gratitude to the organizers of the prayer summit, describing it as a step in the right direction.
The royal father said prayer was the key to peaceful coexistence and called on the people to sustain the good spirit to guarantee a prosperous community.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Reverend Sambo, said the summit was held to draw the people closer to their Creator.
He appreciated the people for turning out for the programmer, describing it as “heart-warming.”
