The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies-Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance Studies (NIPSS-OSKASOGS), Ago-Iwoye, is set to launch the maiden edition of its Strategic Leadership and Management Course (SLMC).
This initiative aligns with the institute’s mandate to conduct policy-driven research and provide specialized training for policymakers in both the public and private sectors.
The SLMC is designed to enhance strategic leadership and governance, reinforcing NIPSS-OSKASOGS’s commitment to building sustainable development through an intensive five-day capacity training programmetailored to equip Ogun State Permanent Secretaries and other senior government officials with essential knowledge and skills in policy application, strategic decision-making, leadership, and management tools necessary for effective governance.
The training is scheduled to commence immediately after the opening ceremony on April 7th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. It will run from April 7th to 13th, 2025, at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies – Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance Studies (NIPSS-OSKASOGS), Road 9, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye Campus.
Distinguished guests expected at the event include the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), and Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the Awujale of Ijebu Land, along with other top government functionaries.
Also in attendance will be the Director-General of NIPSS, Prof. Ayo Omotayo, and the Director of NIPSS-OSKASOGS, Prof. Sola Adeyanju, mni amongst others, according to a statement by Head, Public Affairs Department, NIPSS-OSKASOGS, Yemi Alaka.
