The All Progressives Congress (APC), Chairman in Adamawa State, Ibrahim Bilal, has said that the state was fortunate to have Senator Jibrilla Bindow as its governor today as Bindow “is working more than any governor in the country.”
Bilal stated this before hundreds of party supporters in Michika and Mubi at Buba Marwa Community Civic Centre and Mubi Town Hall respectively during in a four-day working tour to the Northern Zone of Adamawa.
His words: ”No Governor in Nigeria is working like Bindow, despite the insurgency, he is focused to change Adamawa for better. Despite the economy harshness, he is prudent to judiciously use the little resources earn by the state to transform it. I can convince you with new beautiful roads, well electrified streets light and a whole lot of good policies focusing on women and youths”.
Bilal told the crowd that his leadership was gear toward a cleaning up and making sure those who decamped or left the party for any other reason are properly replaced base on the party’s constitution guidance from the state to local level.
He also told them that the era of politics base on religion has gone, charging them to shun anybody with tendencies of playing religious politics to them as such could only be consider as a self centered and indifferent politician.
In his response the Northern Zone Vice Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi said the mammoth crowd that welcomed to them, indicated that the party was going from strength to strength under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Michika LGA party chairman who spoke on behalf of the other chairman, Mr John Fave express happiness over the hundreds of people who turned up to welcome Bilal, a son of the soil.
He said Bilal could make the best leader under any capacity, as he had done it before, stressing that Bilal would make APC proud as the party’s acting chairman in Adamawa.
The chairmen vowed to support Bilal wholeheartedly and work for the party to win any election in the state.
