The Governing Council of Mountain Top University, Prayer City, Ogun State has confirmed the appointment of Rev. Dr. Chibuzo Nwanguma as a Professor of New Testament Studies in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies.
Prof. Nwanguma is an ordained minister of the gospel and the first Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the university. He had his university education at the Lagos State University and went on to obtain a PhD in Biblical Studies majoring in New Testament Studies.
Currently, Prof. Nwanguma is the Acting Director of Centre for Citizenship and Leadership of Mountain Top University. He is a member of many academic associations including Nigerian Association for Biblical Studies, Nigerian Association for Religious Studies, and West African Association for Theoretical Studies among others.
