The 13th Africa Games Scientific Congress is set to go as eggheads from around the continent and the world, ex-internationals and other professionals involved in sports gather to dissect a wide range of sports-related issues as part of activities in the 13th All Africa Games holding this month in Accra, Ghana.
The two-day virtual Congress, hosted by the Africa Sports Management Association (ASMA) holds on 4-5 March, 2024.
Prof. Craig Mahoney former Vice-Chancellor, the University of the West of Scotland is the Guest Speaker.
Nigeria’s ex-international, Dr. Segun Odegbami, Chairman, BrilaSports, Dr. Larry Izamoje are also scheduled to speak at the Congress.
Other speakers include Prof. Andy Fadoju, a consultant sports psychologist at the University of Ibadan; Azmi Amina of Hassanil University, Casablanca, Morroco; Prof. Oby Okonkwo of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria; Prof. Christos Anagnostopoulos of the Hamad Bin Kalifa University, Doha, Qatar, among others
Ag. President ASMA and Chairman of the 13th Africa Games Scientific Congress Organizing Committee, Prof. Oluwaseun Omotayo, disclosed that registration and participation is free.
