The Opposite And Contradictions Of President Buhari

The recent public disclosure made in the BBC Hausa Service interview by Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, that some cabal has hijacked the administration of her husband has brought to the front burner of the opposite and many contradictions of President Muhammadu Buhari.
It is well known to pundits that before his election, President Buhari made it known to all and sundry that he does not recognised what is referred to as “First Lady”. But today, his wife does not only live the lifestyle of a first lady fully recognised by the President and his kitchen cabinet, but she is even recognised globally as the first lady of Nigeria.
It is because of this recognition by even the President of Nigeria as the first lady that she had the audacity to go over the airwave of a foreign media organisation to pour her venom on the way and manner some hirelings and others who has not committed themselves to the wishes and aspiration of the President Muhammadu Buhari, smartly hijacked the administration in the last one and half years.
The response of the President Buhari, while answering questions from reporters in Berlin, Germany clearly negates the principles of President Buhari as a former Head of State and a highly
cultured and disciplined person.
The tacit support he has given to his wife accentuates all what she is doing. In fact, the
discomforting exchange of words between President Muhammadu Buhari, and his wife has deepened the gulf of crises and increased the worries in the land.
Although, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Malam Garba Shehu, came in to say the comment of the President Buhari was a joke, the President has contradicted himself severally on what he told Nigerians before and after the elections in 2015.
It is unfortunate for a person like President Buhari, who enjoyed the goodwill of the vast majority of the people of this country would now talk with so much ambivalence.
