Kwara State Governor and APC Chairman, Osun state Governorship Primary Elections, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has said that the massive infrastructural development in Osun State under Governor Adegboyega, Oyetola was a consolidation on the achievement of his predecessor, and current Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
Abdulrazaq stated this while presenting the report on the Osun state APC primary election to the APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mai mala Buni, at the APC National secretariat, Abuja on Wednesday.
The governor said it was clear from his equities on FAAC allocation that Oyetola was up to date with his achievements in the state.
Abdulrazaq said: “The governor is doing well and the party is doing exceedingly well too. Aregbesola has done well and Oyetola has built on it magnificently. The roads are superb. We saw bridges being constructed, schools and human capital development. There used to be a deduction of about N2.4 billion monthly. That has reduced as well slightly over N1 billion monthly”.
The governor said Osun state remained relatively most peaceful state in the country after Kwara.
He thanked the media for fair coverage of the Osun primaries, which add colour to the credibility of the election results.
Receiving the reports on behalf of the APC national caretaker committee chairman, Sen. John James Akpenudoedehe, thanked the election committee for doing an excellent job on behalf of the party.
“We have read and heard that your Excellency and indeed the entire committee did a fantastic job. You represented the party well. We are very grateful, your Excellency”. Sen. Akpenudoedehe said.
