Indigenes of Plateau and Nassarawa states living in Yola under the auspices of Plateau/Nassarawa Development Association have expressed shock over the demise of two prominent first-class traditional rulers from the states.
They noted that the deceased traditional rulers led chaste and fulfilling lives while they were alive and left enduring legacies in their domains.

A press release by the President of the association, Sir Noel Dagwei (KSM) and his Secretary, Engineer Nanpan D Joroh noted that the demise of the rulers was not just a loss to their people but all Nigerians.
The duo wrote: “No doubt His Royal Highness Miskoom Hubert Shaldas II, Long Goemai of Goemai race and Nde Joshua Dimlong the paramount ruler of Ngas have liveP chaste and fulfilling lives.

“Indigenes of the Plateau and Nassarawa states living in Adamawa states were saddened by the two deaths but took solace in the belief that their gentle souls are taking refuge with our lord.”

They urged the families and the states governments to take the two losses in their strides and aimed at sustaining the long-lasting legacies of peace and harmony bequeathed by the two deceased traditional rulers.
