Police Lose AIG

The Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of the Nigeria Police in charge of Zone 3 Yola, Adamawa State, Muhammad Abubakar Jinjiri, is dead.
According to reports, Jinjiri died of cardiac arrest in his sleep on Saturday night. He was confirmed dead by doctors at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola when he was rushed to when he was discovered by his guards.
Confirming the development, spokesman of the Adamawa State Police command, DSP Othman Abubakar, said that the late AIG Jinjiri was rushed to the hospital (FMC Yola) unconsciously where he was declared dead.
Abubakar described late Jinjiri as a highly committed and disciplined police officer during his life time and that arrangement had been concluded to convey his body to Rano town in Rano Local Government Area of Kano State as demanded by his family.
