PTA Renovates Classrooms, Others In Army School

The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Command Children School (CCS), Yola, has renovated 10 blocks of classrooms in Gibson Jalo Cantonment of 23rd Armoured Brigade, Yola.
The association chairman, Mallam Umar Sa’ad, made this known on Wednesday in Yola at the inauguration of a classroom block renovated by the PTA in CCS.
Sa’ad said the association also constructed 10 VIP toilets, refurbished the school band, purchase two hand scanners for security in the school as well as linked the school with water from the state water board.
Sa’ad lauded the authorities of 23rd Armoured brigade, particularly its education officer for the support to the association and urged for sustain good working relationship.
Inaugurating the project, the Brigade Commander of the 23rd Amoured Brigade Yola, Brig Gen. Benson Akinroluyo, lauded the association for its commitment to transforming the school.
Akinroluyo said the brigade was always ready to work with the association in improving teaching and condition of the school.
In his remarks, Head Teacher of the school, Mr Emmanuel Ayongo, thanked the PTA for it numerous support to the school and urged for sustained support.
