Rep Donates Fertilizer To Farmers In Jema’a, Sanga Councils

The Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja, Hon. Nicholas Shehu Garba, alias Sarkin Noma , has distributed fertilizer and other farm inputs, worth millions of naira to his constituents.
Speaking shortly before flagging off the distribution of farm inputs in Kafanchan over the weekend, the parliamentarian said the gesture was in fulfilling his campaign promises to ensure availability of farm inputs before the beginning of each rainy season.
He appealed to beneficiaries to make good use of the items, for the purpose it was meant, now that peace was gradually returning to the area; to ensure bumper harvest this year.
Hon. Garba said there were many completed and ongoing projects being executed as constituency projects by the Federal Government in the constituency for 2016 and 2017 fiscal years, therefore people should co-exist peacefully and support the government in the prosecution of these planned projects/programmes for the benefits and progress of all.
Sarkin Noma said constituency projects lobbied for execution, some of which have been completed, while few are ongoing include construction of Kwarabe – Fanock road, Asso Mini Water supply scheme, motorized borehole, Ugwan Mailafiya, all in Jema’a Local Government Area. Others are solar-powered borehole Fadan karshi, construction of Tsauni Majidadi – Tscunikulere and Ugwan Mada – Mantur all in Sanga Local Government.
According to him, Solar Street lights have been provided in Fadan Kagoma and Gwantu, over 45 boreholes have been sunk in communities across the two local government areas that made up the constituency.

He assured that with peace, very many projects slated for execution in the current fiscal year will be carried out, appealing to those who are yet to benefit to rejoice with those who benefited and pray the next will be their turn, as records of beneficiaries are kept for future use.
In a remark, the chairman of the occasion and former Secretary to the Kaduna State Government, Alhaji Shaq Hamza DanMahawayi, commended Sarkin Noma for keeping to promises in line with his party’s (PDP) manifestoes.
Alhaji Ishaq Hamza Danmahawayi urged the PDP members/supporters in Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency to reciprocate the gesture through massive voting of PDP in future elections, “because the party has realized and repented of its mistakes and was ready to effect correction for the benefit of all Nigerians”.

Also in a remark, the Kaduna State PDP chairman, Dr. Felix Hassan Hyet, said the party was poised to capture power back to the people, to ensure peace, security and development of the state and country.
Applauding the good representation of Sarkin Noma, Dr. Hyat urged PDP elected and appointed representatives in the state to emulate the parliamentarian in fulfilling electoral promises.
Farm inputs distributed to beneficiaries in the 23 wards of the two local government, Sanga and Jema’a, included fertilizer, sewing and grinding machines, tricycles, motor cycles, irrigation equipment and power generating sets.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion included the state PDP secretary, the PDP North West secretary, Hon. Joseph Gumbari, Zone three PDP chairman, Hon. Lucas Zamani, Mrs Naomi Waziri PDP woman Leader among others.
