Senator Tasks Constituents On Embracing Western Education

The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Chief Danjuma La’ah, has recommended a conventional education paradigm shift for the attainment education for practical development.
Speaking in a good will message through his Special Assistant, Mr. Joseph Major Baba at the Commissioning of De-BioMASS Educational Consultant Service, Kwoi Jaba Local Government area of Kaduna State, Senator La’ah opined that the type of education which hitherto provide jobs for teaming youths in the constituency could no longer offer them ready employment, leaving so many youth roaming the streets, a situation he described as worrisome and challenging to Government.
La’ah said the education paradigm shift envisaged would empower youth on skills acquisition for self-employment, instead of searching for very scared white kola jobs.
Senator La’ah called on sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna to emulate the likes of Professor Jonathan Nok, the Kaduna State Commissioner for Education and a renowned professor in the World.
While efforts are on to return the artifacts to Nok by Government, Senator La’ah advised the Ham People to think of training indigenous archeologists who will do a better research than any person that is not of that Cultural set up.
La’ah lauded the initiative of establishing DE-Biomass Educational Consult Service by Mr. Nyomo Ngumi Stephen, which he said will do more research to addition information for teachers to provide balanced academic knowledge to students and promised to give his contribution, describing it a noble cause.
In his message of goodwill, Engineer Mohammed Haruna, the Member Representing Bida South Contituency and House Committee on works, Niger State House of Assembly applauded the initiative, noting that Ham is his second home, as it was where he laid the foundation of his education.
Giving his support of #50,000 to the project, he called on the Initiator to maintain the Spirit and zeal as it is the first of its kind in the area.
Mr Ben Kure, the Chairman Interim Management Council Jaba Local Government in his good will message said De-Biomass Educational Consultant Services would be contributing to the policy of the President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Almed Nasir EL-Rufai on education, which are aimed at “giving an opened check” to the Nigerian child, haven been provided quality education.
He advised Nigerians to think, say and act big positively towards themselves, their communities, the country and the Government to attract God’s grace and blessings, stressing a Biblical quotation “As a man thinketh, so shall he be”.
Promising assistance to the consultancy project IMC Chairman Jaba Local Govt admonished Nigerians “Don’t use wrong and negative words about yourselves, your families, Communities, State and Nigeria, Speak good things and belief God will intervene”.
Elder Stephen Daniel, Guest Speaker of the occasion and the Secretary Ham Development Association said education is the totality of man’s experience acquired; hence the De-Biomass Education Consultancy Service would be standing in the gap to provide teachers, students and the public balanced information for their advancement.
To render effective service Mr. Stephen Daniel advised the organization to enter into partnership with other individuals and organizations to market ideas, as well as manage time, develop resilience to pressure of challenges and maintain high integrity justice, loyalty to the purpose and fear of God.
In a welcome address, the Executive Director Mr. Nyomo Ngumi Stephen said parents and government alone cannot provide good education to the teeming youth, tomorrow’s leaders, therefore the contribution of all citizens are require which prompted him to initiate the project as his contribution to national development.
The vision of De-Biomass Education Consultant service, he said is to focus people attention toward identifying the predisposing factors and possible solution to the lukewarm attitudes of the youth towards education for Socio-economic and political development of the various communities and the nation at large.
The organization also focuses on providing a scholarship to students, especially brilliant students from indigent background.
He solicited for prayers, advice and assistance to enable the organization render quality service.
