A lawmaker on the platform of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in the Adamawa House Assembly Hon, Emmanuel Tsandu, has accused the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Engr Babachir David Lawal, of being a “selfish” individual who will only do help people only in his community .
Tsandu claimed to have tried to see Lawal to work on how to rebuilt all the bridges, schools, places of worship, social amenities destroyed by Boko Haram in Adamawa but his efforts to meet with the SGF proved abortive.
He said Lawal only singled out his village and rebuilt the bridge, tarred the road leading to his community and electrified the entire community, which was not seriously attacked by Boko Haram
“Babachir is has been very selfish to us from the Boko Haram most attacked areas. As I’m talking to you, he has not sent any support materials to Magadali which is still being attacked by the insurgents. Our bridge that links us to Michika and Mubi has been destroyed and nobody is giving us any serious attention,” Tsandu claimed.
He also stated: “All what I do hear is that there is a plan to rebuild our ruined places by the Federal Government. They are making the whole thing to exist on the pages of newspaper, they are using the media to make serious noise about it without real action”.
